Treat motion as a language, not a layer

Most brands treat motion as a garnish: a favorite video clip dropped into a page at the last moment. That's not motion. That's a sticker.

A motion language has rules

A real motion language defines easing, timing, and hierarchy the way a type system defines fonts and spacing. When every screen on every channel moves with the same grammar, users start to recognize the brand by its feel, not its logo.

  • One easing curve, applied absolutely everywhere.
  • Movement that answers the question: why is this moving?
  • Reduced-motion treated as a first-class state, not an afterthought.
When a user can recognize you with the logo turned off, you've stopped decorating and started speaking.
